I was struck by Bill Scott’s comment that iPhone is the new BREW, Android the new Java. I agree, but I think iPhone is adopting the best elements of BREW and Android both the best and worst elements of Java. I expand on this idea at http://bit.ly/AXt1f in a blog post.
