Mobile Monday Boston’s recent event, “Internet of Things (IoT)”, was hosted at the IBM Innovation Center in Cambridge. From 3D data solutions to state of the art ventilations systems and everything else in between, the demo booths really told the story of what and how the Internet of Things works. After a bit of networking and getting a quick overview of each demo, attendees were welcomed to hear and learn more about what each company had to offer during the speaker session.

Speakers/Demos:

IBM Bluemix – Bluemix is an implementation of IBM’s Open Cloud Architecture, leveraging Cloud Foundry to enable developers to rapidly build, deploy, and manage their cloud applications, while tapping a growing ecosystem of available services and runtime frameworks. IBM will provide services and runtimes into the ecosystem based on their extensive software portfolio.

Revvo – “The world’s smartest exercise bike”, Revvo is an up and coming Fitness Company creating an “all in one” fitness bike that helps track your fitness levels with innovative sensors, guides you to cycle at precisely the right intensity with the help of bio-adaptive technology, and best part of all, each training session is only 10 minutes long!

ecovent – State of the art ventilation systems that gives you room-by-room temperature control in the palm of your hand, making your home more comfortable and efficient. Ecovent works with your existing central air system so there’s no nee for a total house renovation.
