Mobile in Boston
About Mobile Monday
Mobile Monday is the world’s largest mobile industry community with chapters in over 80 cities worldwide. Mobile Monday Boston started in 2006 as an informal meeting at a bar and since has grown into one of Boston’s biggest technology networking organizations. We are organized under Mobile Monday America which is a volunteer-led, grassroots, 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade organization based in Boston.
Mission
Our mission at Mobile Monday is to increase the size and innovation of the local mobile industry by facilitating connections between companies and people: helping investors connect with new mobile startups, companies connect with new employees, entrepreneurs connect with each other, and bringing new professionals and students into the mobile industry.
Our community includes hackers, entrepreneurs, mobile professionals, investors from angel groups and venture capital firms, and CEOs and senior management of mobile companies.
Our activities in Boston include running monthly networking events for 300-700 people, managing a mailing list for thousands of local mobile professionals, and publishing research on the mobile industry.
Most importantly, we strive to create a fun and innovative culture in which our industry can thrive.
