iPhone SDK Party Recap

Mobile Monday Boston had a blast last night at the Apple Store. We learned a thing or two about the iPhone SDK and open source from Jonathan Zdziarski, and Boston-area mobile companies and developers demoed their iPhone apps.

  • Great meeting at Nokia Research Center

    We had a great meeting at Nokia Research Center. We wanted to thanks Nokia and all the speakers for the great presentations and also we wanted to thank to all the attendees. If you attend the meeting and you took pictures please posted them on the Flick group.

    We are planning next meeting for March, so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

    Also we want to congratulate SnapMyLife to be one of the finalist for the Mobile Monday Peer Award taking place next Monday February 11th at Mobile World Congress.

    One last information, March 15th there will be the Mobile Boot Camp, more information here on the site for registration and location.

  • Mobile Monday Boston: Nokia Research Center research projects

    Mobile Monday Boston next event will be held at Nokia Research Center (NRC) Cambridge on February 4th at 7PM. (RSVP is required)
    The meeting will feature presentations about several NRC research projects. These projects are collaborations between Nokia and MIT CSAIL. NRC Cambridge is across-disciplinary research organization whose charter is to bring new ideas into Nokia. The Cambridge group consists of approximately 20 Nokia researchers, investigating all aspects of mobile phones and services, from computer and network architecture to user interfaces. The NRC will provide appetizers, coffee, tea, juice and soda!!

    Mobile Monday Boston is having a holidays meeting on Monday December 10th. It will be an informal meeting at a bar in Cambridge.

    Everyone is welcome to attend and bring their holiday spirit and have a drink with Mobile Monday friends. No presentations or speakers are scheduled but a good networking spirit is welcome!

  • We wanted to thank all the attendees of Mobile Monday Boston event at Mobile Internet World 2007. It was a great event with more then 200 people attending the event.
